Mission Statement

"QuickStart, Inc.’s mission is to help small business owners start, purchase, expand, and maintain successful businesses."

We accomplish our mission by assisting small business owners in preparing businesses plans, educating them on the financial aspects of running their business, and guiding them through the business lending process. We will consistently “WOW” our clients by always doing the right thing and always doing what we say.

Kent Nelson started QuickStart in Appleton, Wisconsin, with one employee, himself, in 1998 and offered only one service, QuickBooks® Consulting. In 2001, the Company was incorporated as QuickStart, Inc. Since then, the Company has grown to four employees and now offers several services including; Business Plan Assistance, Financing Assistance, and SBA Loan Packaging. The Company offers these services to small businesses primarily throughout Northeast Wisconsin, but is currently expanding into other areas across Wisconsin.

The company has offices in the Fox Cities and Green Bay, but we can assist small business anywhere in Wisconsin or out-of-state!

QuickStart received the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award in 2007.

QuickStart will:

• Work with you to prepare a comprehensive business plan, including financial projections.
• Assist you through the entire business start-up, purchase, or expansion process.
• Help ensure you receive the proper amount of financing for your business.
• Determine what financing options are available for your business.  (SBA, WHEDA, WDC, Grants, ect.).
• Help you apply for a grant available through the Wisconsin Department of Commerce and the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs Network to pay for the preparation of your Business Plan.
